Maple

Southern Ontario is renown for having some of the finest maple in the world.  Which is why we consider it the best you can burn.

A fine hardwood with excellent coaling qualities.  Ash has a nice straight grain which can make splitting enjoyable.

One of the densest species of deciduous trees in our area.  High in BTU's make oak a favourite by many.

With a black flakey bark and reddish interior, cherry can be aromatic when burned in an open fireplace or used for smoking.

A common hardwood in our area, the smooth grey bark makes beech very distinguishable.

Nothing compares tot he crackle and smell of dry birch in the fireplace.  Like all of the hardwoods mentioned, they all perform outstandingly in the stove.
