Maple

Southern Ontario is renown for having some of the finest maple in the world. Which is why we consider it the best you can burn.

Black Cherry

With a black flakey bark and reddish interior, cherry can be aromatic when burned in an open fireplace or used for smoking.

Ash

A fine hardwood with excellent coaling qualities.  Ash has a nice straight grain which can make splitting enjoyable.

Beech

A common hardwood in our area, the smooth grey bark makes beech very distinguishable.

Oak

One of the densest species of deciduous trees in our area.  High in BTU's make oak a favourite by many.

Birch

Nothing compares to the crackle and smell of dry birch in the fireplace.  Like all of the hardwoods mentioned, they all perform outstandingly in the stove.
